Create New Folder in SSRS Report Manager

In this article, we will show you how to Create New Folder in SSRS Report Manager. To do this First, Open your Report Manager and check whether it has any existing folders or not. If you are opening for the first time, there will be no folders, as shown in the below screenshot.

Create a New Folder in SSRS Report Manager

In this example, we will create three separate folders to keep Data Source, DataSets, and the reports. To create a new folder in SSRS Report Manager, please click on the New Folder button as shown in below screenshot

Once you click on the New Folder button, the below screenshot will be displayed. Please specify the Folder Name and valid description in the corresponding text boxes.

First, We are creating a new folder to hold the Shared Data Sources. So, we assigned Name as Data Sources

Next, we are creating another new folder to hold the Shared Datasets so, we assigned Name as DataSets

Similarly, We created another new folder to keep the Reports and assigned the Name as SSRS PROJECTS

Next, Navigate to Datasets folder to view the files (if any). Otherwise, upload files using the below marked option.
